Trying to meet T-Mobile VP Brueckman - the video
I hope you've read Linda's great blogposts here and here about a group of CWA activists and elected officials from Pennsylvania, among them Ed Mooney, CWA District 13 Vice President; Stephen Barron, Northampton County Controller; Mike D'Amore, Allentown City Council President making an attempt to speak with Brian Brueckman, Group Vice President of Customer Service for T-Mobile USA on August 10, 2010. They knew that Brueckman was holding a "town hall meeting" in the Allentown call center and they wanted to participate in the meeting to introduce workers to the union, to show how employee representation can help grow a company to the benefit of all.
Check out the video the event:
The same day, U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) released a statement on T-Mobile USA, in which he states that "one of the most most effective ways to ensure economic security for workers and their families is for those workers to be union members. I hope that you succeed in your struggle so that more will have the ability to organize and help drive our economy’s recovery."
We will post the statement in the next couple of days.
